It may have been the recent onslaught of super-hero movies that inspired the lead-single of Nas’ latest LP, but “Hero” is a good representation of Nas’ current position in hip-hop today. Nas is like a disgruntled super-hero who has been unsettled by recent conditions; disheartened by the state of the game, Nasir Jones incited applause and fury with his 2006 album Hip-Hop Is Dead. But after deciding to name his follow-up after the N-word (a title which was later scratched), Nas left heads wondering whether his provocations were just attempts at garnering attention, rather than sincere, bold statements. Now, with his controversial title removed, Nas presents arguably his boldest album to date with Untitled, an unwavering artistic statement that follows through with its ambitious intentions.

A few of the songs including “DON’T TOUCH ME” & “THROW IT UP” were expected to be on his ANTICIPATED upcoming album TITLED “BLESSED”…but as that CD will more than likely DROP BUSTA RHYMES looks to be getting DROPPED from AFTERMATH/INTERSCOPE…

According to some sources at THISIS50.com BUSTA & INTERSCOPE PRESIDENT JIMMY IOVINE got into a conflict that ended with the TWO parting ways. It sucks for BUS because it seems like he is BACK ON HIS GRIZZLY…Hope his album still drops and he does well he is one of HIP-HOP’S true LEADERS. This news comes after last week OBIE TRICE left INTERSCOPE and earlier this YEAR the NEWS of JOELL ORTIZ getting dropped as fast as he got signed. WHAT ARE THEY DOIN OVER THERE AT THE SCOPE?

For all of you Corvette Lovers, here is a good bit of news on a limited edition of he Vette that will be released in Japan. This comes courtesy of COMPLEX MAGAZINE

[When it comes to exclusivity, Japan rocks the crown. There’s a reason your favorite rapper makes sure they touch down in the land of the rising sun at least once a year to stock up on goods they know homies in the States haven’t seen yet. Even American companies like Levi’s bless them with hotter product than we get. For their 100th anniversary General Motors is looking to bestow yet another exclusive on Japan in the form of the Chevrolet Corvette S-Limited.

Produced by GM Asia-Pacific and based on the Corvette Coupe, only 30 of the S-Limiteds will be made, with each costing around $75,000. And what exactly are they getting for the $20,000+ price premium? A cosmetic make-over featuring limited edition black or arctic white paint, a full leather wrapped interior package available in sienna or linen themes, a rear spoiler, mesh screens placed around the cars various vents and grills. There aren’t any performance upgrades planned for the S-Limited, but hey, the ‘Vette already packs a 6.2L V8 power plant that cranks out 430hp, that should be plenty for a country whose new supercar packs a 470 hp V6.]
