WTH? Protesters Show up with Guns

What is really going on when protesters are allowed to carry firearms near the President of the United States? Well, according to these people they’re just exercising their constitutional rights.
Monday, President Obama was giving a speech in Phoenix, when a group of gun-toting protesters showed up for the town hall meeting. One man was even carrying an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle. But no one was charged with a crime. Arizona is an “open-carry” state that allows anyone to have a firearm as long as it’s visible. To carry a concealed weapon requires a permit.
I know there’s secret service and all, but this is getting a little too real. I mean there are numerous reports of people who’ve been arrested for just threatening a President but apparently showing up with guns is okay?
Now I’m all for protecting one’s rights and what not, but what about protecting our President? He is the first black to be in the Oval Office, so I’m sure there are plenty of people that are waiting for the perfect opportunity to harm him. And as long as this is allowed to continue, they just may have found it.
