My Eagles are looking a lil bit better as they sign Michael Vick to a 2 Year Deal. This move will not only make thier offense better all around (especially during the wild cat offense) but it will give McNabb Added pressure to make better decisions.

Michael Vick, exiled from football for two seasons, finally has a new team and it is not one anybody expected. The Philadelphia Eagles, who have Donovan McNabb as their starting quarterback, sent a shock wave through the preseason Thursday night by signing Vick. He will give them a versatile backup who can run as well as pass, but who could also eventually provide competition for McNabb’s job.
McNabb was briefly benched last season during a poor performance against the Ravens by Coach Andy Reid and he chafed at the move. But he led the Eagles to the National Football Conference championship game, where they lost to the Arizona Cardinals. The N.F.C. East may be the league’s most treacherous division, and Vick could help the Eagles overtake the Giants for supremacy.
McNabb will not have to look over his shoulder for a while. Vick, who agreed to a one-year contract with a one-year option, is eligible to begin practicing immediately and he could even play in the final two preseason games (the Eagles played the Patriots Thursday night). But Commissioner Roger Goodell will decide by Week 6 when Vick can play in a regular-season game.
