Since the release of Nooka in 2005, Sieko had stop selling the creators original watches designs which is similar to the Nooka Zoo, he decided to run 1000 limited edition Zoo and Zot watches wich sold out in eight months! Following that he gained access the the Asian Market! “The Nooka concept is based on a more intuitive way of telling time” The brand name was sealed to invoke futurism while keeping his New York Style using Nooka wich is a contraction of “New Yorker” with a local accent
Nooka had a wide range of timeless fashions time pieces
ZOO:
The hours are displayed in a large window, and the minutes by horizontal bars
ZOT:
The hours are displayed as dots, and minutes by horizontal bars
ZEN:
The hours and minutes are both displayed by either horizontal or vertical bars
ZUB:
These bands are made from bright colored polyurethane bands and use the display faces of the ZOO, ZOT and ZEN
ZIRC:
The hours are displayed in a circular manner like a tradition clock, the dots representing hours and grow in mass as time passes. Minutes are represented by a horizontal bar.
By not seeing themselves as just a watch company they decided not to pursue being sold in watch stores.
As the market expanded Nooka found other distributors to promote the watches, and can already be found in over 30 countries in museum shops and moreover, fashion boutiques like DDC lab in NYC and Los Angeles.
