NETFLIX OPENS NEW OPERATIONS CENTER IN GROVE CITY, OH - 120 NEW JOBS

Netflix is officially opening a new 90,000 square foot Central Operations Center in Grove City, Ohio today. On hand will be U.S. Congresswoman Mary Jo Kilroy and Mayor Richard L. Stage. The new center will employ 120 people, store 5 million movies, and process and ship more than 150,000 new DVDs received from the studios to 58 regional distribution centers daily.
A few tidbits about Netflix:
Netflix purchases more than 1,200 movies and TV titles weekly.
Netflix owns more than 89 million DVDs.
Netflix ships about 2.2 million DVDs daily, including approximately 55,000 TV shows.
Netflix pays about $450 million in postage each year to the US Postal Service.
