EMINEM SPEAKS ON HIS ADDICTION

In a recent interview with Vibe, Eminem discussed his upcoming album as well as his personal struggles. The rapper admitted to struggling with a drug addiction and alluded that his most recent fall back from hip-hop was a time of intense recovery.

“I wanted to make an overall statement–I’m back,” Em said. “It was a slow process. You gotta remember I hadn’t recorded a song sober in seven years. So it took me awhile to even feel like I could record a song sober…I don’t know the last time I shot a video sober, without drinking or taking anything. It’s been years…I almost feel like a little kid again with rap. I wanna play around with different flows. If I don’t feel like it’s what I’m fully capable of, if there’s one weak line, I wanna change it. Rap was my drug. It used to get me high and then it stopped getting me high. Then I had to resort to other things to make me feel that…now rap’s getting me high again.”

KELIS AND NAS SPLIT

Divorce rumors have been the theme of pretty much every Kelis and Nas post since last summer. Unfortunately now the rumors have been confirmed. The divorce papers (filed by Kelis) cite infidelity and verbal abuse as the reason for the filing. Sources close to the couple have placed blame on both parties; some alleging that Kelis made a sex tape with another man, others claiming that Nas has been cheating for years. FlyPaper recently posted seemingly exciting news that the couple is expecting their first child. Rumor has it that the baby was a last-chance attempt to save the marriage. Kelis is now 7 months pregnant.

FOR THE LOVE OF…TILA TEQUILA?

Soooooo, according to former fellow reality star Tila Tequila, she’s dating Ray J. This morning via her personal blog, Tila posted the following:
“my baby is Ray J…..and no man has made me feel so loved and so happy in such a long time.”

As of last Friday Ray was still claiming Cocktail via Twitter. This morning he changed he was tweeting a different tune (“I love you, you my future wifey”) to Tila. Um, yea. I smell a publicity stunt here. And it smells worse than rotten bologna and toilet water.
