I gotta get this DVD! Man it’s messed up how Dame went hard for Roc-a-fella for so many years and they just slowly pushed dude out. I know Dame has some new stuff going on but He was a hustler and helped build Def Jam up with the Roc. I remember on the movie “Backstage” when Dame was checking Kevin Lyles for suiting everybody up with Def Jam jackets and not Roc-a-fella jackets. That was the beginning of the end. I really don’t know the whole story but I guess I gotta get this DVD.
(1:35min) “Are y’all promoting that me and Jay got a beef too? .. Huh, John?! I’m asking you cuz you here on Jay’s behalf.
I bet you Jay don’t know that I wasn’t invited. I bet you that.”
