PRESIDENT OBAMA’S NEW DOG

TMZ.com is reporting that the First Dog will arrive at the White House on Tuesday.
The site says the black Portuguese water dog is male, about six months old and named Charlie (although his name will be changed). That syncs up with some details out earlier this week from WBBM News Radio in Chicago.
The dog was bred at a kennel in Texas, sold and returned, according to TMZ. There’s even a Kennedy connection. The dog came from the same lineage as Sen. Ted Kennedy’s (D-Mass.) beloved Portuguese water dogs, and the Kennedy family is “presenting the new dog to the Obamas,” according to the site. There’s no sourcing for any of this information, but it is intriguing.
