Post by T Cole

President Barack Obama broke another barrier tonight by being the first sitting president to appear on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.  In his usual cool demeanor, Obama discussed everything from the AIG contoversy, to bowling, to when the dog is coming to the Whitehouse.

He glided with ease over the tough subjects of the nation’s financial crisis, his executive appointments, and the direction of the country. Obama says he was stunned by the decisions made by AIG execs and that situations like those will be rectified by ending the culture of entitlement that exist in the banking industry.

He stated that by establishing a systems of checks and balances that will prevent any financial institution from being able to have such a huge impact on the nation’s economy. He stated that we have to end the culture of greed.
