It’s really good to see Maurice Clarett back on track. I know he may never play in the leauge again…but he was fun to watch that championship year for the buckeyes. I know some of us that know him personally really wish him all the best and from what it looks like he will be doing some big thing in the near future.

Maurice Clarett has always been a poster guy for athletes who threw away their careers.

From 2002 BCS Championship Game star to prison was a seemingly short trip for the former Ohio State standout.

Now it seems that Clarett is using his time in the Toledo Correctional Institution to attempt to get himself back on track. That includes posting regularly on his blog The Mind of Maurice Clarett.

The former running back says he is taking classes at Ohio University and wants to do public speaking when he is released. He was sentenced to 3 1/2 years in 2006 after police found his car loaded with weapons following a holdup and highway chase.
