That is the million-dollar question
Hip-hop is changing daily, mainly for the worst (in my opinion), as most of the new artist fail to create their own identity without follow the path of current and past artists. I can only wonder what the game would be like without rapper such as JadaKiss & Jeezy. I mean new artists such as Mae Day, Charles Hamilton & Nippsy Hustle may never get the shine they deserve. You are probably asking yourself…’Who are they? I have never heard of them’.
You can blame a lot of circumstances but if you aren’t up on the ‘net and blog sites you may not hear about those kinds of artists for a long time…maybe even never. FlyPaper strives to bring you exclusive music from the underground and interviews from up and coming artists such as Nicki Minaj & Kid Famous. About a week ago I was able to catch up with somewhat of new artist by the name of B.o.B. ‘Who is that?’…right. He’s apart of the change that is about to take place in Hip-Hop.
B.o.B. aka Bobby Ray has been on the Hip-Hop scene for a minute and was on last years XXL top 10 Freshman Issue. B.o.B. is currently signed to TI’s label, Grand Hustle (which is distributed through Atlantic Records), and has dropped a few songs with the ‘King of the South’. He has also released a few songs like ‘I’ll Be In The Sky’ & ‘Lonely People’. He has also appeared of T.I.’s ‘Paper Trail’.
