The media has recently taken notice to the change in stories Oscar-nominated actor Terrance Howard has used to explain his absence from the Iron Man 2 line-up. His original story last October was that the news of Don Cheadle’s casting took him completely by suprise, and that his contract had mysteriously vanished. More recently he is reported to have stated in an interview with Ebony Magazine that he opted out of the role…
WTH?? Which is it? Howard now states that after seeking the advice of his close friend and mentor, Will Smith, he came to the conclusion that his role in Iron Man wasn’t taking him in the right direction. Hmmmm…. getting sent to the chopping block is enough to make anybody change directions, or maybe that’s just how I feel.
