TECH BYTES :: CELL PHONE WATCH…Makes Sense Right?

People for years have said (well at least myself) What do I need a watch for I have a cell phone to tell time on. So let’s now ask the question what do I need a fancy cell phone for when I can use my watch for a phone. Check out a concept that i sure to become reality in the very near future. I have heard of such things already floatng around so this doesn’t surprise me.

Designed by Shirley A. Roberts, the concept phone is segmented so it can wrap around your arm like a big Wonder Woman-ish bracelet. When you get a call, just detach and lift to your face. That makes it a little less Dick Tracy than LG’s Wrist Phone, but we’re still impressed. It might be a risky fashion choice for some, but for anyone who stopped wearing a watch when they got a cellphone, it could be the perfect idea.
