McCain’s not making any promises to Palin

McCain Palin

The woman that was said to have revamped the GOP, Sarah Palin, may not be able to count on old running mate, John McCain’s vote if she runs for president in 2012. Last week on ABC’s “This Week” McCain was asked whether or not the Alaska governor could count on his support.

In response, McCain said, “I can’t say something like that. We’ve got some great other young governors. I think you’re going to see the governors assume a greater leadership role in our Republican Party.”

Now just months ago, McCain insisted to the American people that this woman was ready to lead the nation. In his first political TV appearance since his Nov. 4 defeat, McCain also vowed that he plans to work alongside the Obama administration.
