If you don’t believe Columbus is making major moves somebody needs to smack you in the face. Just in the past year we’ve seen more talent come out of the city than ever before and here is another example of the hidden talent that is being found in our city.

Our homies over at J WORK LIMITED were featured on 106 & PARK recently and their fashion line was introduced to the world.

DJ Prostyles was rocking the Jwork Limited Robot (Artistic Intelligence) on Freestyle Friday Dec. 12, 2008. Jwork took over 106&Park and the whole J WORK TEAM was in the building making moves, repping the city Columbus,Ohio and home town Philly.

UPDATE. We had a chance to catch up and holla at my man Jermaine of J WORKS.

How did you get involved with DJ Prostyles and get him your clothing?:

Well to be 100% real ” When the Jwork Team first came into the 106&Park BET Studio , I just yell out ” Yo DJ Prostyles I got some exclusive stuff for you to rock!!! He came over very cool and humble said he liked the “Jwork Robot” thought it was Dope!! He was like I will throw that on right now for the show ….the rest is history!!!!!

How was your experience and how did it feel having your fashions premiere on national TV?:

Man the experience was great, I mean the team was on the grind for real!!!!!! Mary Director of Operations and Brandi Walker Director of Marketing had where saling the Jwork lifestyle having Males in line taking off what they had on to represent JWORK garments!!! Having everything premiere on BET was a real blessing man, because we all work really hard to get where we are and still we are at negative zero Man, we still all work 9 to 5!!!

For a city like Columbus, the fashion scene is up and coming, what changes have you seen recently? :

I think the fashion scene in Midwest and Columbus is on the rise there is a lot of talent here in the city as a whole, people are really pushing the envelope for fashion ( People are speaking thru their clothes and shoes ) and it’s amazing!!!! And with fashion show’s like Cotourfashionshowcase Columbus and the Midwest will be a force in fashion for years to come!!!

What’s next for JWORK? :

Our website www.jworklimited.com will be launching January 1st, we will also be traveling to the San Diego, Ca at the end of January we have ” 5 Star Lifestyle ” photo shoot and will be preparing for our big release party, and so much more you guys have to stay tune.

Any collabo’s in the makings?:

Well Jwork will be releasing some Exclusive raw Denium jeans with Akira Taskashi fashion and Designs by Winborn to hit the streets by summer and also we trying to get something going with Flypaper also!!!!
