Ok, so the best thing about this winter is that nothing much has changed, so it is ok if you recycle some of last year’s fashions into your Rolodex of outfits for this year.
The pencil skirts I told you about (yeah, FlyPaper is who hipped you to that!) are back with a vengeance, and even higher! Paired up with some fierce tights and Oxford shoes, you are the professional princess. Contrasting colors make this fun, but where the skirt stops makes it business appropriate.
If you are up on your Fly Spy, flypaperblog.com, you would know about the hotness that is MIA’s new line. FlyPaper tried again to tell you what would be up this year, DJ Bern featured her on the End of Year Wrap-Up mixtape, people slept on her. Now since Pineapple Express, people are sweating her like OJ in the court room getting those 33 years!
I digress… if you are a practical person, you can cop some similar looking duds at American Apparel with their “Africa” line, complete with tribal prints on leggings, bandeau tops, and head bands.
It’s the 80’s with a twist. The best way to rock it is with some Ponys and a Kings Rowe shirt (you can cop it @ M Couture). So I have professional look and a hitting the streets look,that should satiate you for at least a week! ::wink::
