MUSIC :: LUDACRIS & KANYE go HEAD 2 HEAD…NO HOMO!
First 50 Cent and Kanye West had a showdown on September 11, 2007. This year, the showdown will be between Luda and Kanye! WTF? Check out what Luda has to say about the two going head to head (No homo)!
November 25 will be the day that both Kanye West’s 808’s & Heartbreak and Ludacris’ Theater of the Mind will hit the shelves. But rest assured that the two won’t bump heads like 50 and ‘Ye did a year ago.
“On this particular record, if he was to send a dis song to me, he might be sending it in Auto-Tune,” Ludacris said in jest to MTV. “Nah, man. For real, it’s gonna be two great albums and I think what [Kanye] is doing is inspiring. People are looking for something new. From the songs I heard from him, I thought that’s just what he was doing — new and interesting.”
Theater of the Mind is reportedly shaping up to be a huge album for Luda. The album will conceptually be taking on an interesting theme.
“I feel like my album [is] such a presentation and far different from anything I’ve done,” Luda continues. “Every song is movie- or TV-based. It’s not just audio, it’s an experience.”
An experience that will also feature some very interesting co-stars. Among them, Nas and Jay-Z join Luda on “I Do It For Hip-Hop,” which proves to be the album’s most anticipated song.
“After doing a song with Nas and Jay-Z, I feel like a part of me is more complete than I was in hip-hop,” Luda says of the collaboration. “I’ve always wanted to do something that extreme and historic in hip-hop.”
The album also features the likes of Common, DJ Premier, Lil Wayne, T-Pain and Chris Brown.
Ludacris’ Theater of the Mind will be released on November 25, 2008.
This is gonna be a tough one! I like both of these guys and they make really good music! I guess I am going to have to dig into my pockets and buy both cd’s! This will be more exciting than the 50 Cent and Kanye face off!
