Okay Okay…I know that record sales are in the toilet right now…except for Dwayne Carter (and the jury is still out on that one) A slew of few other talented artist that have recently dropped Albums have met somewhat success (Jeezy, The Game etc.). With that said I am looking forward to the releases that are still yet to come this year especially Kanye & 50’s Projects.

Soooo…first off almost a year to this date (well give or take) 50 and Kanye went head to head dropping their albums on the same day. I enjoyed both Albums but as you should already know Kanye’s ‘Graduation’ outsold 50 Cent by a pretty big margin. This time around it looks like that even though they won’t be dropping the same day, the two artists will be competing once again for Rap supremecy.

If you are a Blog head…pause…such as myself then you have been hearing Kanye’s new music as it has leaked all over the net. People are bugging out on how he is basically singing and people also think that he won’t be singing the whole album…Hate to disapoint cha but he will be. I honestly feel like his new album ‘*808’s and Heartbreaks’ is more of a dedication album to ‘The only woman in the world that knew him best’…mom dukes. ‘Love Lockdown’ is getting crazy spins on the radio, as it should. It took it to a whole new level with this song. Also I feel that this is not a new Kanye West, this is the ‘Real’ Kanye West. He has been holding this side of him inside all this time, and know obviously (at least to him) is the time to let it all hang out…pause.

50 Cent on the other hand is doing some major things right now. I mean dude is in like 5 movies, on the red carpet with Angel Lola Love & he gets to sit in the stu side by side Legends Eminem & Dr. Dre…what more could he want? He wants his crown back. Face it his last album wasn’t his best efforts and if it was he wasn’t in the right mind when he put it together. I been rockin with Fif since dude was showing the Industry how to rob…with Madd Rapper…dude got talent and his new single “Get Up” shows Fif getting back to his roots…Gutta Music. It will be intertesting to see how his new album ‘Before I Self Destruct’ sounds. I’m sure his fans are hoping that he will get back to ‘Get Rich or Die Trying’ while fans like me are hoping he will one day get back to the
Power of the Mighty Dollar days.

Either way it goes Don’t be Heartless and Get Up and buy each one of these albums as these are two of the reason’s why Hip Hop lives on Strong.
