This is some tragic news and FLYPAPER wants to give our condolences to the STEWART FAMILY…this will not be easy to handle.
Shakir Stewart who replaced Jay Z at Def Jam as Executive Vice President has committed suicide early today. He was known for signing artists like Young Jeezy & Rick Ross to Def Jam. He also helped Ciara get a deal & Beyonce a publishing deal prior to going over to Def Jam in 2004.
