As if the free concerts provided by Jay-Z, John Legend and Bruce Springsteen weren’t enough to get voters pumped up for November 4th, another historical and legendary group has joined in to show support for Obama through music.

The Grateful Dead.

That’s right. Our man, Senator Obama has moved the living members of The Dead to reunite for a benefit concert in his honor. The concert is scheduled to take place October 13th at Penn State, which is housed in one of the major swing states. The concert was lined up band member Phil Lesh’s son, who is a volunteer for the Obama campaign.

While there has not been much information available regarding the show, I am hearing that tickets were sold out in 10 minutes.
