After a highly anticipated wait, Presidential hopeful Barack Obama has announced his selection of Sen. Joe Biden as his running mate.
Never before has the interest in the announcement of a VP reached this height. As promised, Obama delivered his decision to supporters that signed up to receive the news via text or email as soon as it was announced.

The news was delivered around 3:00am. Yes, Barack Obama sent out as mass text at three o’clock in the morning.

Sen. Joe Biden hails from Deleware. He has served in the Senate since 1973 and has considerable foriegn policy experience. The Obama/Biden ticket will appear together for the first time this afternoon in Springfield, Illinois.
