Transformers! More than meets the eye! Now I don’t know if we will ever see this type of car on the road but damn it looks sick! I definitely know you won’t see one of these in the hood because it would go through about 10 different owners by the time it got out of the hood, feel me? I found this car on Complex.com and I knew it would make the car lovers go crazy so check out this concept of the Ferrari Monza that changes shape at higher speeds to help it ride better. Here is what Complex had to say.
“…Designer Iman Maghsoudi still believes that one day our cars will resemble their Sci-Fi brethren. And his Ferrari Monza concept show’s exactly where he thinks future automobiles are heading.
Borrowing styling cues from the Ferrari Enzo, the Monza’s aerodynamic profile is supposed to allow it to travel at speeds of over 200 km/hr. And since high-speedin’ humans are a liability, the Monza’s computer system takes over driving duties once you hit a certain m.p.h. The vehicle will also change shape to become even more aerodynamic and to create a little lift to reduce friction. It’ll be a good minute before we see any flying autos, but if this is where car design is headed…”
