THISIS50’s YEAR, according to FORBES

POST by TCole
According to Forbes, 50 Cent has earned the most money in hip hop over the past year. Bringing in an estimated $150 mil, most from his Vitamin Water deal with Coca-Cola, 50 did quite nicely for himself. He was trailed closely by last year’s top earner, Jay Z who brought in a not-so-shabby $82 mil. Diddy brought home the bronze with $35 mil.
Common, Lil Wayne and Akon are new Forbes alumni, and the lists bids farewell to Scott Storch, Yung Joc and Ice Cube. Check out the rest of the list below. I don’t see the top three going anywhere soon, but I expect to see Lil Wayne move up on next year’s list, he’s everywhere. Shout out to Forbes for recognizing hip hop as a means to get money!
