It’s a drought in the world and Jay-Z is still getting money! How real is that? It seems that Jay-Z is about to make the biggest deal among the Vegas booking operation. Insiders claim that Jay-Z is planning to sell 50% of his stake in the 40/40 club to the Las Vegas Sands. The 40/40 sports bar and lounge opened up this past December to kick off Lebron James’s 23rd birthday. Since the opening, it has been one of Vegas’s most popular night spots.
With this anticipated integration into a casino like atmosphere, this will give people the option to gamble at the tables and on the games. The highly anticipated deal will not only make the 40/40 club more popular, but it will give Sands Corporation the rights to open a 40/40 club in London, with the intent to spread the chain across Europe. As of right now, there are other 40/40 clubs in Atlantic City, New York and plans for openings in Tokyo and Macau. It hasn’t been confirmed from Jay-Z’s camp about sealing the deal. I wonder if he is going to bring a 40/40 to Columbus? The world will never know!
