The woman that has been in the game for many, many years might have to put the mic down! You heard right! The Queen of all media Wendy Williams might have received her pink slip while on vacation. Now that’s some Craig from the movie Fridaytype s*it! It is being reported that the loud mouth, trash talking radio personality is about to get the boot because the executive’s at WBLS isn’t too happy with the outcome of her ratings, her legal matters with former Talent Booker Nicole Spence and some other unsolved matters. Sources from The Wendy Williams Experience are saying that her suspension stems from a change in management. Apparently the new program director, Skip Dillard, isn’t getting along too well with Wendy Williams. I AM NOT SURPRISED! The Experience bonus hour was cancelled because the station of its very low ratings. This prompted Wendy to get very vocal about the situation which prompted Dillard to fire her on her day off.
In my opinion, I don’t think this will hurt Wendy because she has future book deals, movies and a daytime talk show. Wendy has been in the radio business for a very long time (MOTHER HAS LIVED!) and I feel that it is time for her to move on to bigger and better things. I don’t feel that she was fired correctly, but IT IS WHAT IT IS! So what will the future hold for Wendy Williams and WBLS? The world will never know! Keep your head up Wendy! You are still an inspiration to me and all the other women who want to pursue radio. HOW YOU DOIN?
