YOUR CITY :: $10MIL WEED PLANTS BUST in OHIO
PERRY COUNTY – It was one of state’s largest pot busts and certainly the largest in Southeast Ohio.
A major marijuana operation was shutdown as authorities hauled away at least 6,000 plants, NBC 4’s Mike Bowersock reported.
Ohio’s Bureau of Criminal Investigations believed it was the largest operation ever found in the Southeastern part of the state.
“When our pilot and our spotter went over it, uh — I’ll just tell you — our spotter started trembling because he’d never seen anything like it,” BCI Agent Scott Duff said.
The plants were valued at up to $10M.
