Budweiser, The King of Belgian? Budweiser company sold to Belgian beer makers

Post by B Alexander

The face of Budweiser may soon change. The king of Beers has decided that 52Billion dollars is enough to close up shop and ship the business overseas to a Belgian company, InBev, the same company that produces Becks and Stella Artois among others. Thing is I dont understand this move. The beer business has got to be profitable. I know If I’m feelin good I might have a beer, if I’m feelin bad, I might have a beer. People drink regardless of their financial and emotional state. It has become a way of life for many Americans. Take that and the fact that you have a highly branded world renowned product, and you sell it off? That seems to be the trend any more. This is my prediction, USA will become the first country not owned by it’s citizens. We are well on our way. Next time you buy something pay attention, it’s either made in Mexico , china, Japan, India or sold to you by someone from one of those countries. Wake Up America, Pride is not for Sale ! or is that all we have left ?
