New Jersey Paramedics Fired Over Ku Klux Klan Photos

A New Jersey university fired three paramedics after images surfaced showing a hazing incident involving robes and crosses that suggest Ku Klux Klan attire, according to the Star-Ledger in Newark.

Cell phone camera images of the incident Sunday show paramedic trainees in white robes clutching a makeshift wooden cross. In one photo, a paramedic wearing an “EMS” shirt seems to be adjusting one of the robes.
