Everyone is getting hooked on the limited release kicks and now ADIDAS is getting it in with a limited edition NBA Finals set. In celebration of the NBA Finals ADIDAS will release this new shoe shown below. The Boston Celtics are in search of their 17th title, and team leader Kevin Garnett is looking to hoist his first trophy. In honor of the task, Adidas presents a limited version of KG’s signature shoe, a mock up of the Team Commander.

8 pairs will be released for each game of the series (a max of 7 games) and go on sale via Celtics.com, nba.com and through the NBA Store in New York. The ticket on these shoes start at $1017 and I’m sure someone will be paying alot more for them on Ebay if the Celtics win. The Good thing about the price is that a large portion of the proceeds will go to the NBA CARES charity, with the money helping to fund local Boston organizations.
