As the longest Democratic Candidacy Race draws to a close, is America prepared to make the big decision? Today the final Democratic primaries are being held in South Dakota and Montana. That will only leave a few undecided delegates up for grabs in the last remaining weeks. With Barack Obama only in need of 30 1/2 delegate votes to win experts have already began to count Hillary Clinton out of the race, and compare John McCain and Obama on the issues. Comparatively speaking there isn’t much difference in position when it comes to Clinton and Obama on the issues, the dividing factor is more about personality than politics. With Clinton at a fierce deficit in the delegate race requiring 200 1/2 votes, she still refuses to concede. While the public can see that she is prolonging the inevitable, we have to respect her tenacity.
The most controversial Presidential Race in American history is taking place right now. With all of the issues on the table: War, Health Care, Recession, Education… what will become of this great country?? Is America ready to see past race and gender and really choose a leader based on merit?? Only time will tell… stay stuck to FP for more info!
