After all that has happend it’s only natural for Black and Minorities to feel angry for the not guilty charge in the Sean Bell case….but wait there’s always CIVIL court….I’m betting that they get what they deserve when that comes up. Ohh Don’t get me wrong I think it’s fu****ed up that they weren’t charged now but I feel there is another chance at Justice ahead. ROOTS member ?UESTLOVE feels another way about the Situation…he want’s Riots??
After the vertict from a few days ago, there has been a great outreach from HIP-HOP artists like NaS & Talib Kweli to learn towards non-violence (on 106 & Park). Shortly after HipHopDx interviewed ?uestlove and this is what he had to say.
“My immediate response [to the verdict] was that, ‘I hope that muthaf**kas are tearing the shit out New York City similar to Los Angeles [in 1992],’” said ?uest. “And [when I said that] my friend laughed at me like, ‘C’mon now, you know better than that.’ I was like, ‘That’s the saddest s**t I heard.’”…..
