Bobby Brown is putting his business in the streets before he’s out in them. In his auto-biography Bobby’s is dishing the dirt on his crazy marriage to Whitney Houston and even talks about his relationship with Janet Jackson

In this, the latest installment of the couple’s long-running marital feud, Brown says of his ex, “I never used cocaine until after I met Whitney.”

Whitney has released a statement but would not indulge Bobby in the comments he made.

Details from the 39-year-old pop star’s book, Bobby Brown: The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But, began surfacing Thursday in the New York Post. Before Whitney, Brown writes: “I had experimented with other drugs, but marijuana was my drug of choice.”

Whitney’s rep responded in a statement to PEOPLE: “Miss Houston is sad that Bobby feels he need to say such things but she choses to take the high road and will not speak badly about the father of her child even if it’s to set the record straight.”

After his 1992 marriage, the former Being Bobby Brown star says his dependence on narcotics spiraled out of control.

“At one point in my life, I used drugs uncontrollably. I was using everything I could get my hands on, from cocaine to heroin, weed and cooked cocaine,” he writes.

Brown also goes into some detail about his relationship with Janet Jackson and how she dumped him because her parents “won’t allow her to date Black people”.

Man Bobby is gonna get paid however he can get it. But on he flipside I know millions of people would love to get the real deal on how him and Whitney ended up twigging out together after so many years.
