T.I. gets A Year And A Day…Huh?

All Those prayers must have worked for T.I. This afternoon T.I. plead guilty to three weapons charges in federal court in Atlanta. T.I.’s plea went in after 1:30 p.m. He Plead guilty to two counts of illegally possessing machine guns and silencers, and one count of being a covicted felon.
T.I. Statement
With all that said Clifford Harris (T.I.) will be looking at a year and a day and will be eligible to earn 15 percent time off for good behavior.
T.I. stated “While I’m not looking forward to being incarcerated, I have a long road of redemption to travel,” Harris said, reading a statement outside the Atlanta federal courthouse shortly before 3 p.m. “I am dedicated and committed to that.”
Over the next year, Harris must perform at least 1,000 hours of community service, which includes speaking to “at-risk young people,” promoting respect for law enforcement, and opposing violence, illegal and reckless use of firearms, illegal drugs and gang activity.
Harris was also fined $100,000
So from sounding like T.I. would be locked in jail for the rest of his life he skaves that and recieves a miracle of a plea. It sounds kind of crazy but once again it seems to me if you have money behind you anything is possible. Hopefully other rappers will take a page from T.I.’s book and not end up having to sit on the edge of their seat like T.I. did.
