“Notorious” on the B.I.G. Screen

A biopic movie is in production about slain rapper Christopher Wallace aka Biggie Smalls titled “Notorious“. Fox Searchlight has hired Jamal Woolard, a Brooklyn-based rapper known as Gravy (pictured Above), to play late rap icon. Hailing from George Tillman, Jr. who produced Soul Food, the film will also star Derek Luke as Sean Combs, Anthony Mackie as Tupac Shakur, and Angela Bassett as Voletta Wallace.
The “REAL” Voletta Wallace had this to say about the casting, ”Jamal’s charming personality, warm spirit, wonderful sense of humor and beautiful smile” as reasons for the casting. “He is a talented and charismatic actor, and I am excited that he will bring Christopher’s character to life.”Notorious” is expected to examine Biggie’s troubled life, his music and his impact.
