Big “O” Swindled again

POST by TCole
Once again someone in the Harpo Productions empire did not do their homework… Recently endorsed “Love and Consequences” a supposed memoir by Margaret Jones of her drug selling days in South Central L.A. turns out to none other than highlights of her vivid imagination at work. O, The Oprah Magazine reported this book as “a startlingly tender memoir” rather than an imaginative work of fiction because it was mislead by the book’s author Margaret Steltzer, a wealthy 33-year-old woman from San Fernando Valley. If this doesn’t sound familiar to you, you must have been under a rock in 2006 when the scandal over James Frey’s “A Million Little Pieces” hit national news, and prompted Oprah herself to invite him back on her show to clown him while her HUGE audience (live and via TV) watched. Someone better get their game up in the research department at Harpo… but I suppose it doesn’t matter- Followers of the “O” religion are loyal to no end.
