Ja Rule Has Trials and Tribulations

POST by T Cole
New York State Supreme Court Justice Micki Sherer set a firm example on Wednesday when she denied Ja Rule’s attempts to pay the bonds of his road manager, Dennis Cherry and his driver Mohamed Gamal. The July 22nd incident led to the arrest of the three men when they were pulled over for speeding in a 2004 Maybach, which had no insurance and suspended registration (be for real…..a $300,000 car with no insurance and registration, now that’s keepin’ it hood!!!). While the arresting officers smelled marijuana, a search turned up none, but a .40-caliber semi-automatic handgun was discovered in the back seat…. hmmmm… I wonder whose that was. All three defendants, charged with weapons possession, pleaded not guilty. The judge ruled that Ja Rule posting all three bails was a conflict of interest that would allow him to “control the outcome of the case.” I guess Ja won’t be throwing his money around the court system in NY, other entertainers better take note…
