CAVS Make A Move

POST by Daim
With one minute left before the trade deadline ended, the Cleveland Cavaliers made a move to try and improve on last years finals team. With power moves being made all across the league, especially in the West, the Cavs had to feel the pressure to to make a deal to get them over the hump and take the next step to winning a championship.
In an 11 player swap that brought the Cavaliers; Big Ben, Delonte West, (Ohio Native) Wally Szczerbiak and Joe Smith, the Cavs got bigger, but lost athleticism and youth losing; Larry Hughes, Shannon Brown and Drew Gooden. They also lost Ira Newble and Donyell Marshall, but who cares.
Larry Hughes and his 12.8 mill a year contract needed to go! the dude couldn’t even average 20 points a game for that amount of money! are you kidding me! SO LONG!! Cleveland now has a bigger front court and two two young talented guards in the back court who can create shots for others, but are Boobie and West good enough to be a championship back court?
Big Ben has been injured for majority of this season and seemingly not really enthused with the season the Bulls had been been having, but hopefully becoming a part of the Kings Court that energy and toughness we’ve all grown to know him for will show it’s face for the stretch run leading into the playoffs for the Cavaliers.
It remains to be seen if this move will help the Cavaliers, or if it will even make Lebron happy enough to not skate out of town when he become an unrestricted free agent? They didn’t get Jason Kidd or Mike Bibby like they wanted, but at least they did something!
Now all we can do is wait and see if this trade will pay dividends and light a fire under these dudes asses??
It’s ya boy Daim signing off..1!!
