Will.i.am Gets Some… Action in Upcoming X-Men Movie

Black Eyed Peas front man Will.i.am has started production on his role in the latest addition to the X-Men action film franchise, X-Men Origins: Wolverine.  He is casted to play Kestrel, a member of Team X, in the prequel to the series which is set 17 years before the original X-Men. Kestrel aka John Wraith is said to trust no one and is a powerful teleporter capable of getting his team out of sticky situations. Production has begun on location in Australia and also includes Ryan Reynolds (Definitely, Maybe) and Taylor Kitsch (Friday Night Lights).  The comic book-based  film is scheduled for release in May 2009.
