Adidas is paying tribute to one of the originators of hip hop and one of the first to help make the adidas shell toe and track suit a cornerstone in hip hop fashion. The late Jam Master Jay, one half of the heralded hip-hop group Run DMC represented the pillar of the adidas’ movement. In adidas’ “Sounds of the City” collection, they pay tribute to a legend and Queens, NY with a series of apparel and footwear. Here is the track jacket. Check out the rest of the line here
