Peedi Crakk vs. Jay-Z…Something going on at the ROC

Article by NVus
This has been a crazy week for Roc-a-Fella’s head man Jigga, Jay-Z.
It started Monday with Prodigy (who by the way is about to go to jail for a 3-5 bid) on DJ Green Lantern’s show (Listen to Interview HERE) calling Jay a “Punk a$$ camel looking mo f*cka.” Then a video surfaced (C.O.D.) from Oschino (State Property) who aired out Jay-Z, Beanie Sigel’s dirty laundry and his situation at the ROC. Feels like “Camel Hunting season”..as proclaimed a few weeks back by Whoo Kid while doing a interview with disgruntled employee Beanie Sigel.

A few Days ago Peedi Crakk (State Property Member) added more fuel to the fire as he did an interview on Mediatakeout.com stating that he and the whole State Property had been dropped from Def Jam and Roc-a-Fella. Peedi claims that Jay initially scheduled one-on-one meetings with each rapper to talk, but those meetings never happened. Instead, he sent an A&R person from Def Jam out to Philly last week to deliver the bad news. “Which was a hoe move to me. You could tell us some shit like that face to face,” said Peedi. “Ni**as like Beanie Sigel and Freeway and Oschino and Sparks and Chris and Neef..they been there for almost 10 years.” Peedi also went on to say that he was glad to be dropped on account that his album kept getting pushed back.
Peedi Crakk has “I’m Sorry” (Dissin’ Jay-Z)..There’s also talks of a “Camel Face Mixtape” in the works..WOW!!!
Yesterday Beanie Sigel’s manager, Mark Byers, told Billboard that Beanie and Freeway still call Roc-A-Fella home (What?!). “Beans and Freeway didn’t get dropped,” Byers said. “I just got off the phone with L.A. Reid talking about the next video for ‘Rain’ featuring Raheem DeVaughn that we’re about to release. We’re re-launching Beanie’s project and releasing a ‘Rain’ remix with State Property.”

Despite all the rumors and unpleasantness??? Billboard reports that the entire State Property camp, including Beanie Sigel, Freeway, Oschino and Sparks, the Young Gunz and Peedi Crakk, are currently preparing a reunion album to be released later this year. According to Billboard it will most likely be released by this summer.
In my opinon I think now that Jay-Z has left Def Jam and is looking like the new President of Atlantic, the ROC will be back in full effect. Yeah, it does seem that Jay does have a close bond with labelmate Kanye West but he’s what the people want right now. Peedi Crakk I think is more than a little pissed off..which he has the right to be (Seeing Memphis Bleek & Uncle Murder dropping a VIDEO this week didn’t help either).
I love State Property..(Philly Philly all day). I hope that he can hold it out and just relax and wait his turn. As far as hunting season and all this aggression pointed at Jay..I don’t know maybe he does deserve it. Time will only tell.
FlyPaper will keep you updated with Roc-a-Fella..I think it’s safe to say Roc-a-Fella fans you can throw your ROC sign in the air..YEAH.
Sidenote–Def Jam has not dropped the entire Roc-A-Fella Records roster, Billboard.com has learned. Roc-A-Fella artists include Kanye West, Freeway, Beanie Sigel, Tru Life, DJ Clue, Memphis Bleek, Young Gunz, Uncle Murder, Jadakiss and Hector Bambino.
