Britney Spears was rushed to the hospital early this morning after a nearly three hour long custody dispute. The police were called to the trainwreck’s home after she refused to turn over physical custody of her children to K-Fed’s bodyguards. When the police arrived, Britney was observed to be under the influence. Now here’s where things get crazy. At some point during the fiasco Britney had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance. According to TMZ, Spears’ youngest son Jayden was also taken to the hospital in a seperate ambulance. The eldest is back with dad. There is no word on what Jayden is being treated for.

What makes matters worse is that Spears had to be strapped down, while she smiled and gave the paparazzi the finger from the ambulance. Is it just me or is Britney Spears becoming the new Amy Whinehouse?
